Accessibility information

Using this website

You can use the main navigation, forms and controls with a keyboard. Use Tab to move between links and buttons, Enter to follow a link, and Space to activate a button or open a disclosure. A skip link takes you to the main content.

Website settings offers larger text, an easy-read font and reduced movement. Browser zoom is supported. The 1990s version keeps its retro style without flashing or automatically scrolling text.

Work still to do

This update was designed against WCAG 2.2 Level AA. It is not a formal statement of conformance. Automated and browser checks cover only some accessibility requirements.

• The 3CX chat interface is supplied by a third party. Keyboard navigation, screen-reader announcements and call controls need testing against the live configuration. Chat is optional; phone and email remain available.
• Some retained learning and exhibit pages, including the interactive wiring diagram, need further assistive-technology testing. The wire-tracing tool still relies on pointing at a diagram, and its PDF drawings do not yet have equivalent structured descriptions.
• Booking and donation journeys take you to external services. Their accessibility needs separate testing.
