Arriving
Come through the visitor entrance. A volunteer can help you find your way and explain how the machines work. You can look around before deciding what to try.
Your visit, your pace
You don’t have to try every machine. Ask a volunteer if you need help, want something explained again or would prefer a quieter activity.
Ask us first
Email us about the layout, seating, toilets, step-free access, likely noise levels or anything that would help you plan a comfortable visit.
What are the sounds and screens like?
Several machines may be running at once, with music, beeps and sudden game sounds. Some games include rapidly changing images or flashing effects. Ear defenders are welcome. Ask us which times are usually quieter before travelling.
Can I get help with the controls?
Controllers vary in shape and the force needed to use them. A volunteer can explain the controls or help you find another machine if something feels uncomfortable.
Do the youth clubs need booking?
Yes. Our Wednesday Retro Tech Club and Thursday Code Club are for ages 8–14 and have limited places. Register at clubs.rewired.org.uk and follow the arrival and collection arrangements provided there.
Can we arrange a group visit?
We welcome enquiries from schools, community groups and people planning a private event. Tell us your group size and what you have in mind so we can discuss arrangements.
